Abstract: After demolition of the secondary circuit core wire, the red insulating tape was adopted mainly to carry out bandage treatment for the uncovered core wire. There existed inefficient, irregular and unsafe problems in isolated tool. This paper proposed three kinds of core wire isolated tools including embed, hop-pocketed and clipped modes. Comparison and analysis were made from the aspects of isolated reliability, site operability, fire resistance, developed difficulty, price cost and comprehensive assessment. This paper selected the embed mode as the scheme and designed the material, style and size in detail. The practical application shows that this new type of isolated tool shortens the time of site secondary core wire isolation, reduces the expulsion rate and raises the reliability of secondary safety precaution.
